
The True Outreach DWI Long-Term Program (40+ hours) is a state-approved, structured intervention designed for individuals assessed as requiring extended DWI services due to higher risk factors related to impaired driving. This program provides in-depth education, skill development, and ongoing support to address patterns of substance use, decision-making, and behaviors that contribute to impaired driving.Participants engage in an evidence-based curriculum that explores the physical, psychological, and social impacts of alcohol and other substances, with a strong emphasis on personal accountability and public safety. The program addresses impaired driving laws and consequences, substance use patterns, risk recognition, relapse prevention strategies, coping skills, and long-term behavior change.The long-term format allows for deeper reflection, consistent monitoring, and meaningful engagement over time. Participants are encouraged to identify personal triggers, develop individualized risk-reduction strategies, and strengthen protective factors that support responsible choices. Group sessions provide a structured, supportive environment that promotes honesty, peer accountability, and skill-building, while maintaining confidentiality and respect.
